Todd, Kelly and Karley: Grand Lake 2010

Last week we made the 4 hour journey to Grand Lake in Oklahoma to spend a few days with Todd's family. It was hot but so much fun. Minus the horrible ear infection Karley and I both now have. UGH.

Here is Karley and Grandma Debbie fishing. Karley caught a crap load of fish---she loved it but she wouldn't bait or release her fish by herself. ICK. I can't say i blame her.

We took the boat out and did a little tubing. This was a highlight for Kar. She could stay on this for hours. Here she is with Princess Madison and Aunt Marilyn.

After Aunt Marilyn and Princess Madison got tired it was time for daddy to ride with her. He is much more dare devil-ish and karley was laughing her head off. They were hanging off the edge and spraying each other with the water. I thought for sure they would flip but they never did.

After Todd got tired it was time to brake out the big mable tube and have mommy ride with Kar. My father-in-law was driving and the whole time i swear he was trying to flip us off. Karley was cracking up and I was a nervous wreck. It was fun but exhausting. WHEW!

The second night we had a birthday party for Kar. It was a night full of pizza, ice cream cake and feeding mud pies and mud shakes to the babies. :) Here is Princess Madison, Sydney, Laykin and Karley.

On Tuesday we took a 45 minute boat ride to dripping springs where they have cliffs you can jump off. Karley wanted to do it. I was such a nervous wreck but decided to let her try. She was so brave!!! Todd's cousins, Tammie and Jessie took her to the cliff and helped her jump. VERY BRAVE!

Right before we left dripping springs Todd decided that since his daughter jumped he better give it a try. I laugh every time I see this picture. After he said he couldn't believe Karley did that. It was scary!

After we left Dripping Springs we headed to another cove called serenity. They have trampolines and diving boards that you can use while you are filling up with gas. This photo is on the way there and Karley and Princess Madison are feeding each other grapes.

When we got back to the cabins we were greeted by Adam and Wyatt. This is Jill (todd's cousin's husband) and some of you girls from college will know him as Trisha Thompson's little brother. Anyone remember him from Siblings Day???
