I escaped having to put on roller skates tonight. Todd saved me by taking off a little early and doing it for me. Thank God! Instead I got to spend the evening gossiping with some friends and I found out a bit of information about my crazy, wack-job of a neighbor. She is they type that just drives you crazy by being in the same room because she reminds you of June Clever with the voice of mickey mouse...only don't let her fool you....she is a total backstabber. To save you the big, long story (with a much better updated version soon to come) I will just leave it at that and tell you about the skating party---
Karley got off the bus very excited for the party tonight. We arrived on time and to my surprise there wasn't a whole lot of people there yet. I was happy about that because at the beginning of the year there were so many people you couldn't move in the place. We had time to put our skates on and immediately a couple of her friends were ready for her to join them.
These next few pictures are of a couple of fourth graders who crashed the party. They were a big help and Karley always feels like big stuff when her friend Katie is around.
Here is Karley and Soraya. The quality of this picture isn't great but I just LOVE the look on her face here. She is so focused!
I am pretty sure this is the beginning of the chicken dance. Look at Todd out there being super dad!
Have a great night!
Sunni- call me for details on crazy neighbor (and I still need to update you from Christmas!)
