Karley's first field trip was last Friday at the Nature Center. The bus took off at 8:55 and we began the day taking a nature walk. I had a group of kids that included our neighbor, Kayden. Here is Karley and Kayden on the trail.
After the hike we sat down and listened to a presentation on animals. The kids got to feel a snake and learned the difference between water turtles and land turtles.

Karley and Kayden were paired up on the trip to catch bugs. They gave the kids these big nets and a bug box and sent them off to catch whatever they could find. The girls caught a grasshopper. 
This was one of my favoirte pictures. Karley is just chilling out listening to the presentation....but look at the boy right next to her...the one with the cute little vest on. He is her first grade crush and he sat by her! OMG....haha!
